Increasing traffic density makes roads increasingly dangerous for children and, accordingly, the issues of preventing children's road traffic injuries do not lose their relevance. The task of teachers and parents is to raise children as competent and disciplined road users, as well as to develop in them the skills of safe behavior on the roads. For this purpose, detachments of Young Traffic Inspectors are created in schools.
Detachment of young traffic inspectors (YID) is a creative association of schoolchildren who help the school organize work to prevent child road traffic injuries, promote traffic rules (safe behavior on the streets and roads of the city) among students of their school. To achieve this, activists of this movement carry out various socially significant actions.
Social action– this is a type of social activity, the purpose of which is to attract public attention to an existing social problem (in our case, the problem of road safety), to a date or event.
Any action is carried out in several stages.
The first stage is idea development. To develop an idea for an action, the brainstorming method is used.
Brainstorming is an operational method of solving a problem. During a brainstorming session, discussion participants are asked to express as many ideas as possible, including the most fantastic ones.
Brainstorming takes place in several stages. The first stage is the formulation of the problem. The main part of brainstorming is generating ideas. It is very important to follow some rules here:
The main thing is the number of ideas. The more ideas, the better.
A complete ban on any criticism (both negative and positive). Some children, upon hearing negative criticism of an idea they have expressed, withdraw into themselves and stop voicing their thoughts in the future. In the case when one of the ideas receives a large number of positive reviews, the students, “hooked” on this idea, stop offering something new.

Brainstorming ends with the grouping, selection and evaluation of ideas. At this stage, the most valuable ideas are highlighted and the final result of the brainstorming is given. At this stage, unlike the second, evaluation is not limited, but, on the contrary, is encouraged.
The result of the brainstorming session should be a detailed scenario for the action.

This period includes the preparation of all necessary attributes in accordance with the script (posters, costumes, leaflets, etc.), as well as rehearsals.
Any action must be rehearsed. This is necessary in order to avoid confusion and confusion during the event.

During the event, it is very important to observe all personal safety measures. For example, a child, while handing out leaflets, should not go out onto the roadway or walk in the parking lot.
