I add tomatoes to the cabbage and start assembling the salad.

I drain the marinade from the pickled mussels and put the shellfish in the salad.

I pour a small amount of mayonnaise over the salad and mix lightly using a couple of spoons or forks. I don’t crush the salad so that it retains its fluffy shape.
