Beach holiday in Novosibirsk it is quite developed, but within the city there are not many places where you can not only swim, but also have an interesting time. In addition, it is not possible to make fires and grill kebabs everywhere. At the same time, on the Ob Reservoir, located very close, there are plenty of types of recreation and entertainment.

We chose three places with good transport accessibility: a recreation park with a beach, entertainment and sports infrastructure, an eco-style hotel on the shores of the Ob Sea and an inexpensive tourist base.

Recreation Park "Zvezda"

The recreation park, better known as Zvezda Beach (Neokom), is located on the shores of the Ob Sea not far from Akademgorodok.

Getting to Zvezda Beach is quite easy. From the city center it is about 25 kilometers along the Berdskoe highway. There is parking in the park for owners of personal vehicles. And those who want to get to the holiday destination by public transport need to take a minibus from the River Station to the "Giant" stop - then walk about a kilometer.

Summer here can be different. The year before was very hot, last summer was average, but mostly warm. It happens very rarely that almost every day the temperature is about 18-20 degrees Celsius with a cool wind, you can’t buy it. In my memory, there was only one such summer here, when in all 92 days of summer there were only a couple of hot days. But generally hot and cool days occur intermittently. Sometimes in September it heats up to 30. At the same time, everything blooms, ripens, there are a lot of berries in the garden and at the dachas, starting from mid-June until September. First, honeysuckle ripens, then strawberries, followed by raspberries, various currants, cherries, blueberries, in the forest - lingonberries, and closer to autumn, sea buckthorn. Apples and pears, of course, cannot compare with those from the south, but there are excellent varieties. And even the grapes are ripening, very tasty. It would be a shame to miss such a summer. Therefore, it is better to travel to the south when it is cold in Siberia, from October to April, and the rest of the time it is very comfortable here. Today it was already +22, almost summer, so why leave?

There are excellent places to relax in the Novosibirsk region, and that’s what I want to write about. Already, recreation centers in the Novosibirsk region are preparing to receive vacationers. In total, the expected flow of tourists during the 2015 season will be about 160,000 people. The next peak of visits is expected in a few days during the May holidays. And the largest influx of tourists will be at the end of June - July.

A few more different numbers

The management of the region's sanatoriums has estimated that the total tourist flow this summer will increase by 30%. Calculations are made taking into account hotel room bookings and travel package purchases. We really have a lot of beautiful places to relax. The closest to us is the Ob Reservoir, which is located very close to us. Twenty minutes through the forest - and we are on the shore of a reservoir with a beautiful sandy shore, you can swim and sunbathe. True, the beach is wild, with all the ensuing consequences. In some places it is quite clean, as it is periodically cleaned by volunteers. But there are snags at the bottom, so you need to go into the water carefully. There are many improved beaches around, where the bottom is checked and cleaned, water samples are taken, and the beaches themselves are opened or not opened by the sanitary and epidemiological station in the spring.

Berdsk

These beaches are located starting from Akademgorodok and further towards Berdsk. Berdsk - old City, with a 300-year history. It adjoins almost closely to Novosibirsk, although it is located on the other bank of the Berdi River. Just at the exit from Novosibirsk we see a sign that crosses out the name “Novosibirsk”, and immediately after it there is a sign “Berdsk”. This town is older than Novosibirsk, but it is less known and not as large as Novosibirsk. In fact, half of the city of Berdsk is private sector, and the second half are modern multi-storey buildings with large full-sized apartments. In the city center there are mainly Soviet-built high-rise buildings; there are not many of them. Berdsk was built on the banks of the Berdi and Ob reservoir, and is considered a recreation area of ​​Novosibirsk.

Here, in Soviet time were located industrial zones and a chemical plant, most of these facilities have not been operating for a long time, and the air here is much cleaner than in Novosibirsk. Here you can still see a cow crossing the road, but, of course, every year such a picture becomes more and more rare. Although goats grazing in the private sector or running chickens are common in the summer.

Berd camps and holiday homes are mainly divided into two categories - either they are too Soviet, or, conversely, too expensive and modern. One of the most famous bases, which I would classify as the first type, is Blue Lake. There is a small natural lake right on the territory of the base where you can swim. Across the road on the territory of the neighboring base is the beach of the Ob Reservoir. We have been to Blue Lake many times; it takes about half an hour to get to it from our house.

We usually need a few days of such rest, a weekend, and then this rest is most often combined with studying at some seminars. We often visited the Sfera camp site, located in Karakansky Bor, last summer. The children were in nature all day long, near the water, playing in the sand. During the day I usually worked, watching them, sometimes I took a break and swam. These places have an excellent sandy bottom and a fairly smooth entry into the water. In the evening, my husband and I sometimes rode bicycles to the village, played badminton, or just sat and talked with friends on the shore. Pines, a fire and the sun setting directly into the water make it unnecessary for me personally to have any other entertainment. On the contrary, I love when there are not too many people and you can feel almost alone with nature.

Fans of active entertainment can play volleyball or rent a boat or catamaran. These places are very beautiful, the mighty pines here almost approach the water, leaving only a small coastal strip of sand. Therefore, swimming and sunbathing are included in the main list of entertainment. Many bases organize discos on weekends outdoors. Also everywhere there are baths or saunas with the opportunity to dive into the water immediately after the steam room.

As a rule, meals at such recreation centers are provided by tourists themselves. These can be products brought with you or purchased nearby in a village shop. On the way to the base you can buy fresh food in the village delicious milk, other dairy products, eggs. If the house you rent does not have a kitchen, you can cook in a shared kitchen, of course, this is not so convenient. There are also tourist complexes with a centralized kitchen and dining room, where you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner, and holiday lunches.

Budget holidays for tourists

The most budget-friendly vacation is to put up a tent on the territory of the base and cook over a fire. From June to mid-August, and if you're lucky, even until September, it is usually not cold in a warm sleeping bag in a tent. You can also live in houses located on the shore or in small cabins in floating marinas - landing stages that stand on the water. Every year there are more and more vacationers this way, and there are fewer and fewer of those who travel with a tent as savages. No wonder. Camp sites provide infrastructure, entertainment, protection, and most importantly, their territories are treated against ticks, whereas in the wild forest you can catch a tick in 15 minutes if you are not careful. But what kind of vacation is this when you constantly think about ticks? Moreover, parents with children prefer to completely exclude the possibility of a tick bite while relaxing in nature.

Another entertainment at such bases is fishing from a boat, from a landing stage or from the shore. I tried fishing myself, but I don't have the patience. But our children somehow caught a pike completely by accident. The husband left the fishing rod and left, and they ran up, began to pull and pulled out a pike. Fishing is so popular that at the entrance to Karakansky Bor they even built a fish storage facility where you can catch large fish for a fee. Moreover, the price, let’s say, is rather considerable - it starts from 2000 rubles, and then according to the price list for each kilogram of fish caught. I'll tell you a secret - such fish are cheaper on the market, although it may not have been caught right now, but yesterday. So, if you don’t catch anything, so as not to return home empty-handed, go to the market, I think your family will believe that you actually caught this fish.

Let's go to the waters

The region has huge reserves of water and healing mud. One of the sources is the relict lake Ostrovnoye, which contains a source of sulfide medicinal mud. The healing properties of this lake are higher than those of the Dead Sea mud in Israel. The mud and waters of the Island Lake have a powerful anti-inflammatory, absorbable and analgesic effect, and strengthen the immune system. But the most important thing for women is that they have a very noticeable rejuvenation effect.

I myself have never gone to a sanatorium on Ostrovny, but many of my friends vacationed in the Krasnozersky and Dovolensky sanatoriums, which operate on waters with “sulfide gifts.” I will say this, people visually lost from 5 to 10 years in a couple of weeks. This was especially noticeable in older people - the skin smoothed out, eyes and hair looked healthy and shiny. Dovolenskoye actively uses water from its own Dovolenskoye well.
