How much do contractors earn now

At this time, the salary of an officer, depending on the rank and position held, ranges from 58.5 thousand to a little more than 137.

For the rest, according to the tariff scale, the following salary is assigned:

• a private with an experience of 1 to two years - 19-23 thousand;
• junior sergeants (no more than 5 years of service) - from 33;
• sergeants (five to ten years old) - from 42;
• senior sergeants (under 15) - over 49 thousand;
• foremen, whose seniority has reached 15 years - over 55.

Every contract soldier who has previously received a higher or professional education has the right to count on one or another military rank. 2019 salary plans

Earlier, the government planned to gradually raise military salaries. However, due to the crisis, this intention had to be temporarily abandoned. Moreover, a special moratorium was introduced. Not so long ago it became known that the authorities definitely intend to index salaries in 2019, at the level of annual inflation. As a result, salaries should grow on average by at least 1.5-1.8 thousand rubles. This is certainly not a lot, but better than nothing.

At the same time, one should not forget that, compared to the average income of the Russian population, earnings in the army do not look so modest.

The legendary and invincible Russian army, which has learned the joy of victories, feeds the morale of more than half of our citizens, who are confident that a patriotic mood will strengthen the country's position at the world level. Recently, capital investments have been made in defense, the salaries of the military have been increasing, and the attractiveness of the service has grown significantly. The events in Ukraine that unfolded in 2014 also sparked a surge of patriotic unrest.

Our army is armed very well, given that Russia has the most weapons of mass destruction in the world, including nuclear. Such maintenance requires a lot of expenses, which grow by 1.2-2% every year. About a third of the entire national budget is spent on general military needs. So what are the figures for calculating the current level of salaries of military personnel?

What does the salary consist of?

Fees apply to those who are in the reserve and have already completed military service. The participants of the training camp are also adult citizens who have been trained at the military department.

Initially, it may seem that the salary of a military man in Russia is absolutely none, but this does not take into account the allowances.
