How to get an Inn through public services

Not so long ago, the State Services Portal banned the possibility of obtaining a TIN electronically, so many citizens unsuccessfully try to find the right section on the site, which no longer exists. However, earlier you could have already received your TIN and not even be aware of it, for example, when applying for SNILS. It is still possible to find out your number through the State Services, in addition, the whole procedure takes only a few minutes, and to receive it you only need a passport and registration on the portal. Be careful, registration is considered completed after the confirmation of the user's identity in any municipal institution.

Enter the portal using the link https://www.gosuslugi.ru and select the "Catalogue of services" section. You only need to hover over it with the mouse cursor, do not click on the button. In the pop-up window, select the "Entire directory" field at the very bottom.

Scroll down the page with the mouse wheel until you see a large section “Taxes and finances”. From the bottom, click on the gray button “All services”.

Among the six services you need is “Find out your TIN”. Just click on the purple icon.

Now go through the "Get a service" field to the next page.

If your data was entered on the portal initially, and without it you could not register, then the TIN will automatically be displayed below under the green bar.

If you need to find the TIN of another person, then the State Services portal is not suitable for this. Visit the website of the Tax Service of the Russian Federation.

In the case when your data is entered incorrectly or has changed, click on the link above “Change data”.

Again, fill in all the authentic information about yourself on this page. Now you will receive your TIN.

At the moment, in order to issue you a TIN code, you need to visit the Tax Service of the Russian Federation, having a passport with you. The issuance takes place within five working days, you can get a notarized power of attorney for a relative and ask him to go through the procedure for you.
