Of course, there is a solution to this problem, but it also has its drawbacks. Let's look at the options first:

Option 1: buy raincoats.

The easiest solution to the problem. It is unlikely that the developers will leave the raincoats only for Alex and Steve. Perhaps by the beginning to mid-November they will release a new version of the 16th update, where they will be able to put a cloak on their skin.

But the downside is that on Android OS they cost money, and on iOS and Win10 they are free until November 3rd. So it’s your decision whether to spend 55 rubles on raincoats when you could buy a doshirak with that money.

Option 2: replacing textures.

Now let's look at option 2. It is also not that difficult, but option 1 was easier because you did not have to rummage through the files.

What we need for this:
- Any explorer that supports .zip files (I personally prefer ES explorer).
- Your skin file.
- Texture Custom Skin For Capes (will be at the end of the guide).

Unpack the .zip file of the texture to any path.

- Delete the "steve.png" file in the texture folder.

- Take our skin, insert it instead of Steve's texture and rename it to "steve.png".

- Move the folder along the path: "sdcard / games / com.mojang / resource_packs" (if it is not there, then create it).

- We go into the game and turn on our texture in the settings.

How it works?

1. To receive the MineCon 2016 skinpack completely free of charge, you have until October 3, so hurry up! Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the store to complete your purchase (which is 100% free). You can now access new cloaks by changing your skin.

If you don't want to use the Alex or Steve skins (these are the default skins) to wear the cloak, then you will have to use the texture pack, the link to which you will find below. Read more about this in this guide.

2. Install the downloaded texture pack. Here .

3. You will need any file manager to replace one of the files included in the texture pack. Here are some that I recommend:

• Android: ES File Explorer
• Windows 10: 7-Zip
• iOS: IExplorer (I personally have never used IExplorer since I am an Android user, but I heard it is good)

4. Find your own PNG skin file. If you have not chosen a skin yet, then go ahead to the section with

6. Replace the steve.png skin with your skin. For example, you can delete the steve.png file, add your skin, and then rename it to steve.png.
