The last ap titz. Yandex and Google updates: TIC update, PR, link, text, search engine results

The only criterion for analyzing the results of your site optimization for search engines is TCI, PR and place in search engines for your key queries. And, of course, these data do not change every second, moreover, they change relatively rarely. And in this article I would like to acquaint you with the update frequency TCI, PR and search base.

Each search engine has its own terms for updating data, but we will consider only two giants on the Runet - Yandex. and Google... Now let's talk about the update rate for a particular parameter.

1) PR updated very rarely, approximately Once every 3 months.

2) TCI updated much more often - approximately Once every 20 days.

3) Yandex search base updated by about 1 time in 3-4 days.

4) Google search base updated practically daily.

Of course, these criteria are not accurate, moreover, an error of 30% may well be, but they can be guided by.

As for where to look, when was the last update. A very good service is located here: http://www.pr-cy.ru/update/. There is a list of the latest updates. TCI, PR and Yandex search base... In principle, nothing else is needed, but google search base updated and so almost every day, so it does not need surveillance.

Hello dear readers of the blog site. Any novice webmaster is faced almost immediately with such a concept as Yandex search results update... Why a Runet webmaster? Well, because Google, which dominates in a very large number of countries in the rest of the world, does not have such a thing as an update, except perhaps we can talk about an update, but again it is a toolbar, because the real value of the static weight of all pages indexed by this search engine system, changes constantly (in real time).

Yandex, in addition to the issue update (changing the positions of sites by the overwhelming number of search queries), also has ap tit, i.e. update the value, which you can read about at the link provided. In fact, Tit is a kind of indicator of the trust of the site and the larger it is, the more trust will be in it from the search engines (most likely). Titz is also important for those who sell links from their sites, because their price significantly depends on the value of Titz.

What is the Yandex search database update

Well, there is also something to wait for webmasters in the Russian Internet. For example, there are such concepts as updating favicons, I. Catalog, mirror and pictures. These ups are not interesting to everyone, and certainly not all the time, but sometimes it is relevant, for example, when you move to a new domain, change your favicon, pay to add it to YAK, or you get a significant share of traffic from image search.

Let's start with updating the Yandex search base... How often does this phenomenon occur? How do you know that an up has already happened? And why, in fact, keep track of these updates? Similar questions arise for novice webmasters of the Russian Internet, who are beginning to get acquainted with the harsh reality of website promotion for the Yandex search engine. I also experienced it and that's okay.

The essence of the updates is as follows. Unlike Google, Yandex does not have such impressive hardware and physical power to update search results several times a day, taking into account all newly indexed pages and found backlinks to sites in it. Therefore, he is forced to go to some tricks that will reduce the rather high load on his servers.

But here you will need to have at least a general idea (if you have it, then we continue to read, and if not, then follow the link to view the general picture). What is Yandex doing? Of course, like Google, it constantly indexes new pages on the Internet and re-indexes the updated ones, as well as finds more and more new backlinks for different sites.

But ... He does not immediately take all this wealth into account, but puts it in a not very long box, so that once every few days (sometimes the period between ups can be over a dozen days, but not often) please us with another update. Here are the dates of the official ups of the search database of the Runet mirror for several months, so that you can estimate their frequency:

And what then do we have the opportunity to observe in the issue between apes? Generally, banal cache.

To exaggerate, the first user who sets a search query after the next update activates the algorithm, which, after calculations, produces the resulting output (a list of pages relevant to this query), which is immediately cached and already when the same query is entered again, the search engine algorithm is not involved, and retrieved the list of sites stored in the cache (issue). This reduces the load on Yandex servers and allows, with less hardware power, to match the big brother in the person of Google.

At the time of the next up, all the new information accumulated since the last update (page texts and links to them) will be taken into account when ranking (read more about in the search engine results) and the list of relevant pages for each search query will be saved again in the Yandex cache in order to be quickly shown to users until the next update of the search base. Convenient, simple and economical.

But this is all, of course, very greatly exaggerated and simplified. Probably, Yandex worked on this principle ten years or even more ago. In addition, since the end of 2012 Yandex switched to personalized search results, when different users with different, but large enough, search history show a different list of sites for the same query. Now it is gaining more and more power and updates are becoming blurry.

However, when the percentage of search queries for which the issue changes exceeds several tens of percent, we can assume that the search has taken place. How do you know this very moment? Well, read about that below.

And we will dwell on what is Titz update? Everything is much simpler here. It is believed that the total Tic value of all sites indexed by Yandex does not change, but is only redistributed between them. Moreover, this redistribution does not occur permanently, but again at certain not particularly regulated intervals (from twice a month to once every two months).

You yourself can see the dates of the last ups, which do not have a stable periodicity:

Titz is influenced by the number and quality of backlinks leading to your site from other resources, which, in the opinion of the search engine, are close to him in terms of subject matter.

Yandex collects data on such links all the time, but Tit values for almost all sites on the Russian Internet do not change between updates (sometimes, however, as a punishment, the citation index can be reset to zero, but this is already force majeure). Then, suddenly, the value of the thematic citation index is recalculated and it will be safely stored in the cache (after some adjustment and shrinkage or adjustment), until the next up. It's corny.

Other types of Yandex updates and not only

You can judge the frequency of PR updates by this screenshot:

In addition, there are the following types of updates, which to one degree or another are monitored by some webmasters:

  1. Updating Yandex Catalog- adding new sites and removing those that have lost trust from the most prestigious directory of the Russian Internet. If you are expecting the appearance of your resource in the YAK or have reason to fear its exclusion, then you should monitor the update of the database of this directory.
  2. Updating the search database of images- a separate Yandex robot indexes images on the Internet, however, image output, like the main output of this search engine, has pronounced updates. If your resource has every reason to promote and receive traffic from images, then it makes sense to track this up too, in order to evaluate exactly what results were brought by the actions you took.
  3. Up favicons- traditionally, in Yandex search results, the Favicon taken from this site is displayed to the left of the page title and description. In fact, it is precisely because of this feature that your humble servant is still sitting on Yandex's needle, for it is very clearly visible those sites that I trust and to which I go to look for an answer in the first place.

    Before that, I already wrote a detailed article about where and where to shove it. However, the number one search engine in Runet will show the favicon of your new site (or the updated icon of the old one) in the SERP not immediately after its indexing, but only after the next Favicon update, which does not happen often.

    Refresher update- Yandex has a special robot that is responsible for gluing the so-called mirrors. The simplest example of mirrors is www..ru (they will have to be glued together, i.e. determine the main mirror - either, or, or).

    A situation may arise when the site moves to another domain due to falling under the filter or due to other force majeure circumstances. In this case, you specify the new main mirror in the robots.txt of the old and new domains and do the same in the Ya.Webmaster panel. However, the mirrors do not stick together immediately, but only in the next up of the mirror.

In addition, the very update of the search engine base can be causal, in connection with which they distinguish:

  1. Text up- i.e. keeping track of all new and updated pages included in the index.
  2. Referential- accounting for all new backlinks to sites whose pages participate in the ranking.
  3. Up behavioral factors- a somewhat mythical type of ups, which is due to the updated user data on the sites participating in the ranking.
  4. Search algorithm update- the most terrible, from the point of view of possible consequences, an, because in this case not only new texts, links and behavioral factors are taken into account, but the very principle of calculating relevance changes. Yandex even began to call such global updates according to the principle of the game "City".

    We started from afar - from Magadan (May 2008) and continued with Nakhodka, Arzamas, Snezhinsky, Konakovo, Obninsk, Krasnodar, Reykjavik. Now, since December 2012, Kaliningrad has ruled the ball, and then there will be something on the "D". Kaliningrad tries to create a personal issue for each user, focusing on his preferences, which the search engine revealed following him for some time.

During a normal search base update, a text update usually follows, and after a while a link update. Behavioral updates are rare or not always distinguishable. It's pretty clearly visible on the site an enthusiast for tracking Yandex (Evgeny Trofimenko is such a smart friend that it is not always clear what he is talking about when speaking at conferences):

True, it is not particularly worth going into this, because the very fact of the update that has occurred is important, so that you can start and draw conclusions about the correctness of the course you have chosen to promote the site. However, to judge the dynamics of development by one ap, of course, is not worth it, because the search engine has tremendous inertia and you should always wait a few ups in order to draw conclusions or start tearing hair on your head.

How and where to track Yandex updates

The question is, how track Yandex updates? It turns out that there are several options that will allow you to do this.

Also, in my opinion, it is very convenient to learn and discuss updates on, the most convenient of which is probably Serch... There is a special section on Yandex Apam, for the appearance of materials in which you can subscribe:

Hello dear readers! Today I decided to digress from the wordpress theme and talk about Yandex updates. Why Yandex? Because, unlike the same Google, it does not update so often. I must also say that Yasha is currently the leading search engine on the Runet, therefore, special attention is paid to him. Below I have provided a list of all updates (updates):

  • Search results update;
  • Updating the TC;
  • Updating Yandex Catalog;
  • Favicon update;
  • Updating the base of pictures;
  • Search algorithm update;
  • Behavioral factor update.

It seems like I indicated all the updates, and now we will consider each of them in more detail.

I think the most attention is riveted to updating the search results. Yandex makes these updates at different intervals. This period is now approximately 9 days. Previously, it was more often almost every two days.

Once upon a time I did not closely follow this update, but for 4 months in a row, I have been watching it and I hope that some kind of RF request will still “shoot” at me. Plus, as you remember, I conducted an experiment to increase site traffic, which was never successful. You can track this update by following this link: https://seobudget.ru/updates/

As you can see, here you can follow immediately 4 types of updates at the same time. At the moment, many have begun to confuse the usual Yandex random with the issue. In more detail, there are concepts such as text and link updates. What is it?

A text update is the appearance in the search results of site documents with a later date, which were indexed after the last crawl by the robot.

Link update - change the number of external links that link to your site.

Usually a link up follows with a textual one, but not vice versa. Recently, Yasha has become less and less likely to make a link update, but the text update is always different (you have to wait 1-2 weeks). It is better to track the appearance of these APs through http://tools.promosite.ru/

Updating TC

The second most important ap (at least it was for me) is the update of the TC. Earlier, when I was just starting to be interested in making money on the site, this app was in the first place for me, I dreamed that my site would earn the top ten. After they gave me TC 10, I practically ceased to be interested in this update. Although for many webmasters it is very significant, since the profit from the sale of links directly depends on the TC. I gave up Sape 1-1.5 years ago. She brought in income, but not as big as I wanted, and I have few pages on my site to trade in it.

Updating Yandex Catalog

This update happens most often, on average every 2 days. I do not follow this Yandex update at all, because my site has not yet been included in this directory. Yes, in principle, I think even those whose sites are in the Yandex Catalog are not particularly monitored, since the attendance from this catalog is very small, and that is, not for everyone who is in the catalog.

Favicon update

In principle, it does not affect anything, I followed him when I first created my site. For those who are not aware of the "favicon" - this is a mini-logo of the site, which is highlighted in the search, and also visible in browsers at the top.

And I watched this up because I didn't have any favicon in Yandex search.

Updating the database of images

This type of change, I think, is only monitored by those webmasters whose main traffic comes from image search. For example, you may have a website dedicated to paintings of a certain era, and it will be presented in the form of a gallery of pictures. Here I think you will follow this up.

Many people are following this update, especially young sites and those who have moved to a new domain. And the essence of this apa is that it glues site mirrors. A simple example of a mirror: site and www.site... That is, an address with and without www. It is very important to specify one address both in the webmaster's panel and in the file .htaccess via redirect and in a file robots.txt and wait for the update of the mirror. After the update, the following message will appear in the Yandex Webmaster panel:

Search algorithm update

Perhaps for some it is a very unpleasant update, for others it is excellent. The thing is that search engines are improving and it so happens that they change their algorithms. So Yandex, without exception, sometimes makes itself felt. Now this update is called Minusinsk. Yandex underestimates the position of the site on which there were purchased links. Today, another update of the search algorithm also took place, how it affected the site's results, it’s too early to tell, you never know what else can happen during this week.

Behavioral factor update

The last type of update that we will consider is the update of the behavioral factor. In fact, this up was a very long time ago - 11/26/2014, so it's too early to talk about it. Although behavioral factors strongly affect the position of the site. I am really looking forward to this update as the behavioral indicators have improved on my site.

Probably, it is not necessary to say that the official site itself and the search service called "Yandex" know, if not all, then at least those users who regularly search for something on the Internet. But only a few people guess what the renewal of the Yandex search base is. Let's see what it is in general and why apply such updates in practice.

Why and who needs to update the Yandex search database

Immediately I want to warn all users: if you are not the owner of the site or hosting, the information provided below will not be useful to you in practice. And that's why.

The point here is that the search update, in the sense of its algorithms, is reflected only in the functionality of the site itself. In other words, the creator himself should be interested in this, and only for the purpose that his page was included in the top five or ten search results requested by users of the system itself.

To put it simply, updating the Yandex search base only contributes to the fact that your resource will appear on the first page as a result of the search. As statistics show, very few users go to the second or third page to read this or that article. Most often, they stop at the first and click on the most popular links at the top of the list.

Updating the Yandex search database: how often does it happen?

As for the updates themselves, in principle, it all depends on the developer, and it is simply impossible to predict the release of a new update. Of course, the system will inform the owner of the same hosting that the Yandex search database has been updated at the moment, but nothing more.

Alas, the rest is anyone's guess. In this sense, many users who post their pages under the patronage of Yandex (even using electronic wallets) do not like this service. The factor of unpredictability is more likely to play here, because the very update of the Yandex search database can play a cruel joke with the hosting owner. Here the situation is such that after the update, any site paid for for search may disappear from the proposed results altogether. This is, sorry, the crooked hands of the developers themselves. However, it’s not all bad. Let's look at the issue of the update itself a little more broadly.

Main types of updates

For now, let us leave aside the question of how often the Yandex search engine is updated, but let's look at exactly how it happens so that there are no omissions in this problem, so to speak.

As it turns out, among all the variety that is offered by the service, the most demanded ones can initially be distinguished:

  • text update (the update includes new text documents on a given topic);
  • updates taking into account links (when the site gets into the search result for a given address or criterion);
  • ranking, which is negatively perceived by SEO specialists, since a ban may be introduced for using cheating so-called behavioral factors;
  • favicon is not discussed at all - there is no good news for those who installed it;
  • traffic service update using graphic materials;
  • updating Russian-language queries;
  • update of the base of thematic queries;
  • popularity index Rank.

Does everything count?

In connection with all of the above, we can conclude how the frequency of updating the search engine "Yandex" affects everything else.

In this case, we mean the registration of pages that fall under any criterion. As it turns out, the main problem of the search engine, for example, with a text or link update, is that it does not immediately accept the incoming request, as it would be expected, but generates it only for publication at the next update. And the dates of updating the search base "Yandex", as a rule, are unknown to anyone except their creators. So it turns out that no one sees new pages in terms of links or text information published on them. But that's not all. The fact is that the frequency of updating the search base of "Yandex" also raises legitimate doubts.

Let's try to compare two popular search engines, created, as they say, in the image and likeness. These are Yandex and Google. It's no secret that the first was developed on the basis of the second.

Here the main difference and the main problem is the so-called ranking. If a "google" service is able to perceive a new link, text or graphic document almost instantly, "Yandex" needs a rather long time period for this (as a rule, thirty days, at least, and then before the next update is released). So it turns out that the owner of a resource or hosting cannot count on the factor that tomorrow his page will be among the most popular queries.

The concept of "storm"

Now let's dwell on one more concept called "storm". This term refers to the rate at which requests were issued immediately during the update period.

It is believed that:

  • 5-15% - weak site;
  • 15-20% - average level;
  • 20-40% is a reliable resource;
  • over 40% - updating the algorithms puts the resource at the peak of its popularity.

In general, if it is "storming", it means that the service itself is in the process of being updated, with the registration of incoming requests and redirecting them to the level of the search engine. As already clear, this does not always work, or even does not work at all.

Update Dates

As for the update itself, no one knows when the next update of Yandex's search base will take place, perhaps even the developers themselves. Surprisingly, the frequency of updates does not fit into any framework.

This is the only reason why website and hosting owners should switch to other registration resources, otherwise, what good, you can slide from the leader in the search to the lowest position. How often is Yandex's search base updated? Perhaps it is better to ask the owners or developers of the service about this.

And all this is only due to the fact that the update does not work correctly or is absent altogether. But the problems may be in the settings themselves, which, for obvious reasons, are not currently being considered.

Conclusion

As for the bottom line, you can simply shrug your shoulders: as you can see, the service, although it is one of the most popular, nevertheless, alas, is untenable in terms of installing updates to its own database. So that a user who decides to find some information on the Internet or promote his own website will receive the most recent information, and there is no need to say. This is where the update of the Yandex search base plays a role. How often this happens or should happen is unknown, because it all depends on the developer.

On the other hand, in fact, the search service itself, based on "Google" technologies, in comparison with the original, does not stand up to criticism. Another thing is that both services are quite insidious in terms of spying on the Internet surfer. Haven't seen when your last request was displayed in the browser in the form of a sponsored link? But what can I say, even if there is an "account" for both services, the same banners can also appear on a mobile phone or tablet. But this is a great distraction, if not worse ...

Finally, the owners of the resources themselves in this case are subject to unreasonable risk. It's no secret that you have to pay for everything. To make your page popular on the web - too. A lot of money. What is the surprise when, driving in a search term, then you do not even find your own resource? This is where the time comes to think about how expedient it was to use Yandex as the main hosting. However, such a situation does not always manifest itself: for someone everything works, for someone it does not. Business, as they say, is everyday.

But in any case (by the way, many users of the service are talking about this), if the company does not change its policy regarding updates, it is hardly worth counting on attracting new customers. Here the old ones would not be lost ...

Since I have time, I started writing almost every day. And in today's article you will learn about what an update is, what types of updates are and where you can see them. If you are a beginner and have recently created your first website, then this article will be useful for you to read.

Update Is an update of the search engine database. The update is also called up or update in English. There are several types of updates:

  • Text update;
  • Link update;
  • Update Tit;
  • PR update;
  • Yandex.Catalog update;
  • Behavioral factors update;
  • Updating the search base of images;
  • Refresher update;
  • Favicon update;
  • Search algorithm update.

Text update- all internal changes that were found by a search robot on the Internet are taken into account.

For example, you wrote a new article on your site for a specific search query. The robot can visit your resource at any time and index a new post, but the site's position for this request will not immediately change. They can only change after a text update. That is, with such an update, all changes that were made by you inside the site are taken into account. Text update exists only for Yandex. As for Google, updates there are very frequent and no one even tracks them.

Link update- it's easy to guess that the links are being updated: smile :. For example, you decided to buy several links to your resource. Do not think that the next day, the site's rankings will rise sharply. No. They can only change after a reference update. Many newbies do not understand this, and they check positions every day. In order for the link to start working, you need to have passed at least a month.

Update Tit- when updating, all external links are taken into account by the Yandex search engine. Based on their quantity and quality, the site is assigned a thematic citation index.

Update Titz occurs approximately every two months. I will write where to see it a little later. By the way, you can read two articles that I wrote earlier: "?" and " ?" Today Titz has just been updated and my blog got the top ten: smile :.

PR update... Here, about everything, the same as in the previous case, only Titz is assigned by Yandex and the whole site, and PR is assigned by Google and each page separately.

In general, PR is a rather strange indicator and when buying links, I do not pay attention to it. Firstly, it is very rarely updated (about once every six months), and secondly, this indicator is somehow unfairly assigned. In young sites, after the first up, PR can shoot 4, and for authoritative resources, with a decent link mass, it may remain 0.

Updating Yandex Catalog. There is a Catalog where, according to Yandex, the best quality resources of the Runet are available. You can get there both free of charge (but very difficult), as well as paid for 15,000 rubles.

The catalog is updated very often, on average once every two days. It is not difficult to guess that during the update, some sites fall into this directory, some fall out. I don’t understand why I should update it so often? It would be better if Tit was updated at least once a week: smile :.

Behavioral factors update. Is how a user behaves on a blog. These include the search results, the number of pages viewed, the time spent on the site, etc. If, for example, behavioral factors improve on your resource, then you can notice an increase in positions only after an update.

Updating the search base of images. The fact is that there is a special robot in search engines that is responsible for indexing images. Therefore, the output by pictures changes only after a special up. In order to find out which pictures of your resource have already been indexed by search engines, just enter the following address in the picture search:
site: site
It works for both Yandex and Google.

Refresher update. Each resource should have a main site mirror with or without www. It can be specified in the robots.txt file, in the panels for webmasters and using a 301 redirect. By the way, the last method is the most reliable. So, there is a special robot that is responsible for the main mirror. And even if you change the main mirror of your resource, the merging will happen only after the update.

So, even if you make a favicon for your resource, it will appear in Yandex search results only after update.

Search algorithm update. Sometimes it happens that search engines make changes to their algorithms. For example, they can add or remove some ranking factor, or they can simply weaken its influence on the search results. After updating the algorithms, as a rule, the output changes significantly. Thus, some resources sink to the bottom, while others shoot on the contrary. If your site has dropped or increased traffic from a search engine, then it is quite possible that the algorithms have changed.

What is an update and what they are, I think it's clear, let's move on to the next question.

Where to track the update

On seobudget.ru you can find out the main updates, namely:

  • Update Titles Yandex;
  • Yandex search results update;
  • Yandex.Catalog update;
  • PR update.

Also on this site you can see what is the average update period and approximately when the next update will be. Many newbies ask: "When will Yandex update?", "When will Titz update?" etc. The exact date of the apa is known only to the creators of search engines: smile :. The seobudget.ru service only makes a forecast:

With the help of pr-cy.ru you can also find out the PageRank update, Titz update and Yandex issue update.
